DeleteCan I use these in Illustrator?
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, these are JPG images, so if you can load any other JPG images into Illustrator, then these ones will definitely work too :) (sorry I don't have Illustrator so can't give a definitive answer).
Deletehi,
ReplyDeleteso if i purchase these is there a limit to how long i would have the files? or no?
Hi. Once you purchase the Pretty Textures Kit, it's your's to keep. You download the files and save them to your computer to use whenever you like :)
Deleteooo okay thanks for letting me know! just purchased!
DeleteHi Vanessa, I'm having a hard time keeping the integrity of the image when I copy and paste into my file. It looks blurry. My canvas size is 840x340 pixels. Can you help? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Lindsay, thank you for your purchase! They definitely shouldn't be blurry in a canvas of that size. What program are you using the images in?
DeletePhotoshop. To retain the image as it should appear can you recommend a size to scale the image down to? Thank you...
ReplyDeleteThe images will look different depending on how much you scale them down but should never be blurry, especially in Photoshop. If you were to place one of the textures on a 840px wide canvas and not resize it to fit the space, you'll see the detail of the texture up close. As you resize it down (making sure you're keeping it square), that detail will get smaller and smaller. If you want detailed texture, I wouldn't scale the texture down much at all in that canvas size.
